Ok , in this pretty morning I will learn you how to backup or restore your mysql databases with ssh commands . It is very useful when you have a big data base because you cannot restore big databases with phpmyadmin . (in usual servers)

Creating a dump of your Database via SSH

Connect to your ssh client with putty or any more ssh client programs . (In linux yomust use terminal)

How to restore MySQL backup using phpMyAdmin
1. Login into WHM
2. Click on phpMyAdmin from SQL Services section.
3. Select the database from phpMyAdmin section.
4. Click on Import tab.
5. Click on Browse button from the location of the text field.
6. Select the destination and click on open button.
7. Click on Go button.

How to download MySQL backup using PhpMyAdmin
1. Login into cPanel
2. Click on phpMyAdmin from SQL Services section.
3. Select the database from phpMyAdmin section.
4. Click on Export tab.
5. Select type SQL from Export section.
6. Click on zipped radio button.
7. Click on Go button.
8. Select the destination and click and save button.

account backup without home diretcory
Here is the command to exclude/skip home diretcory

root@server [~]# /scripts/pkgacct –skiphomedir username

Note :: Here username is actual cPanel username.
