How to Install mod_evasive
First thing you must know is that what is mod_evasive ? mod evasive is an apache model to block ddos attacks !

Mod_Evasive will help to stop basic attacks on a server (HTTP, DDoS attack and brute force attack). Detection is performed by creating an internal dynamic hash table of IP Addresses and URIs, and denying any single IP address from any of the following:

-Requesting the same page more than a few times per second

-Making more than 50 concurrent requests on the same child per secon

How to install Mod_Evasive on Directadmin Server
Well, I figured I would post this for any DirectAdmin ( DA ) users out there that would like to use the power of mod_evasive. The install is fairly close to a cPanel install, with a couple of little twists. This is geared towards a server running Apache2, if you are running Apache1, let me know if this worked for you!

How to install mod_evasive in cPanel server (Apache 2.4)
Mod evasive is an Apache module which provide evasive action in case of any Denial Of Service attack or in case of any brute-force attack. It helps to protect the server from DOS or DDOS attacks. Mod evasive prevents any single IP address from any of the following:
